This article, based on the master's research “Mothers who dance alone”, analyzes the experiences of six solo dance artist mothers, exploring their strategies for reconciling motherhood and profession. Using the Oral Life History methodology, it addresses intersectionality and criticizes the sexual division of labor. It highlights Ilza's trajectory in the midst of reclaiming her indigenous identity and as a non-binary person, connecting motherhood, dance and affections, as well as valuing collectivity.
