This paper discusses the manifestation of forms the onomatopoeias representation in comics invented for students from second year elementary education. Initially, we presented a brief description this linguistic phenomenon that, according to Ullman, has in “repetition” and “reduplication” one of their most important properties. Then we analyzed some of their relations with the graphic -visual language the Mônica´s Gang comic. The schools manuscripts collected are the products of 12 proposals the production of text made from the teaching project “Comic in the classroom” developed in the second semester in 2008 in a state school in Maceió. We chose a manuscript produced for a double which appears 5 onomatopoeias to exemplify the established relations between their onomatopoeias and images that have risen. Although this apparent evidence that can be in onomatopoeic representation a character crying or singing the students present linguistics forms which preserve in part of “repetition” and “reduplication the properties”, but does not differ in relation to the image represented.
